Amos Professional 2.0 was the final version of Amos before they quit making it.  It comes from adding the compiler to AmosPro 1.12 .  You can download AmosPro 1.0 and the updates to get it to 1.12 and the compiler disk to get it to 2.0 at the Amos Factory website RedNova mentioned.  You just have to sign up for a free membership and look in the downloads area.

-edit- You don't need the Amos Updater disk, just the documentation and the manual.  Last I knew you could get the AmosPro manual from Software Hut (see the 5th item from the top).

I am trying to use the command Dir "AMOS_DATA:Sprites/"

However it asks me to insert the data disk and I tried all the disks I have yet none of them load.

I have the same problem even after AMOS has been installed on hd.

Dear friend:

I have seen that problem before. The name of the disk does not match the name in your 'command' instruction.Rename the disk..to match the name in youe command instruction. Also, make sure the sprite data name is included in the disk.
Cheers!!!

As I am using WINuae and have downloaded the adfs I have no idea which disk is which.

I am basically following the aforementioned guide (see above) and following the instructions for sprites there.

Is there any way I can find where sprites are located?

Sorry if this is really annoying but I want to try and get to grips with this, am realising now its going to be a slow process lol.

Friend:

I am sorry :(  I cannot help you anymore...As I am not good with winUAE. However the problem is as I explained (that for sure), it is that the command instruction does not match the name of the disk/programme. You need to find out what is the 'right' name of the disk to put in the instruction...and also to make sure the sprite bank is there
and has a 'matching' name.
Can anyone else help?  Someone who knows both amos and winUAE?
Thanks!!!
