Hi all long time no chat, well Nintendo have made an Item
called wii fit, but hay Amiga had the joyboard 25 years before nintendo was thinking about wii fit

yeah, well maybe the amiga had the joy board for 25 years, but I don't rember ONE game that used it.  I don't think it will catch on with the Wii either.

I had Alpine Skiing and Surf... something or other for the Joyboard.  Both totally unplayable in a carpeted room.  We actually brought in a piece of plywood to set under the Joyboard for playing these games.

Are you sure you had Surf's Up?  Only a handful (maybe less) of prototypes are known to exist.  Mogul Maniac was the skiing game included with the JoyBoard.

The joyboard was just an 8 direction joystick with a platform on the top was it not?
The wii fit is two (maybe more, one for each corner of the two different platforms) presure sensors.
These deliver a lot more information and can be used for a lot more than just a simple left/right/forward joystick.

Im looking forward to giving the wii fit a try :D
(although there is probably going to be a 18 stone limit or something so I cant :( Supersize it now!
