A600+scart: some minor flickering?
« on: July 16, 2007, 09:32:38 PM »
So I finally gave up my dreams for a nifty scandoubler, and bought an LCD TV.
No big thing, a Matsui 15" with integrated DVD.  This one, for the curious.

Now, I connected my A600 to it using the scart cable I bought from Amigakit earlier.  The image is bright and sharp, absolutely crystal clear without "ghosts" or any visible noise.

.....except for a few "twitches" on random lines now and then.  It's as if a rasterline is skewed one or two pixels to the right.  Again, this only happens on random lines quite frequently.

I'll probably get used to it, but I was curious if someone have experienced similar problems and maybe have a solution...?

Specs: A600HD, 1MB chip, Kick 3.1, 40G HDD, A500 PSU and A500 floppy.
Code 6502 asm or... DIE!!

As strange as it may sound, I actually managed to take a photo of these "twitches" with my cell phone.  Here's what they look like:
