Hmmm... no monitor, "works perfectly", "never tested the Toaster", "Can't connect a monitor", "sold as is" and some really expensive shipping...

I'll give that one a miss... along with his C64 and floppy drive that costs $80 to ship.
A2000, A3000, 2 x A1200T, A1200, A4000Tower & Mediator, CD32, VIC-20, C64, C128, C128D, PET 8032, Minimig & ARM, C-One, FPGA Arcade... and AmigaOne X1000.

LOL, so skeptical... I'm more skeptical of a $500 4000 that is also sold as is also.  Without the protection that papal offers to boot.  The toaster is very robust, and that 4000 looks pretty good, as good a chance and any that that box work fine.
but yeah go ahead buy the $500... it's your money

There is "market value" and I don't know what I'm doing I must have now "value"

That's why I try and avoid eBay.  I've made 3 purchases in total (One from Redrumloa).  I'd rather pay 25% from a shop than risk a DOA on eBay, but I've been fortunate so far.

here is a well priced a4000 with toaster

Yeah, Wordlam is pretty solid as an Ebayer. I asked him about shipping via Fedex which would cost a lot less but he says Fedex is 40 miles away and can only ship USPS. He would get a better price if he was more flexible on shipping and included some pictures of the motherboard--especially the battery area. The Toaster card is very close to the battery and I removed the battery in my A4000D just in the nick of time. It seemed to have emitted a cloud of corrosive gas that went far beyond the immediate battery area and caused some damage on the Toaster card. It only partially worked--it couldn't sync properly. I had another Toaster 4000 board on hand, fortunately. Still, a good set of photos that show the buyer exactly what he's getting helps a lot in getting a decent price--especially if you can't test what you're selling. The battery issue is really critical in the A4000D due to it's densly packed motherboard with loads of critical components right around the battery.

A2500 owned since 1993 with A2630/DKB 2632, DKB Megachip, GVP EGS Spectrum, A2320 and GVP HC+8 on the inside and a DCTV on the outside. A4000D with CSPPC, Cybervision 64 and a Flicker Magic flicker fixer. A4000T Toaster Flyer & CSMKII. All systems completly retro and classic and mostly used to do geometic art as in my avatar.

I would be very leary of buying an A4000 these days, they are sure to have battery leakage and broken RTC circuits if not SIMM problems due to the acid.
Going Bananas over AMIGAs since 1987...

Looking for Fusion Fourty PNG ROMs V3.4?

Yeah, I had to clean the MB with a baking soda solution and there were some touchy spots and I had to clean the first Simm socket and the Simm with a small wire brush. I am happy that I saved this A4000 from a premature death. If you don't already own an A4000, it is worth the pain. And my enquiry to Wordlam was actually for another auction with a simular shipping price. I already have my A4000. And at the curent price of $76 plus 95 shipping, Wordlams A4000 is still worth the money. If someone buys it and it works and the buyer removes the battery and cleans up any damage, it is another A4000 saved for posterity. And I just looked at the picture of the listing and the power light is green which is a very good sign the the MB is good and the simms are working. It looks like a clean well cared for machine out of some video studio with keyboard and mouse so I would say it's worth buying.
