HOL is probably the best known Amiga database and has helped in preserving quite a bit of knowledge. Its limiting factor, however, is that it only covers games.
In the interests of getting a productivity "cousin" going, I'm starting to compile information on Commodore-published software (starting small). From what I've learned so far, all Commodore software has a letter code, AS (presumably standing for Amiga Software) followed by a three-digit numeric code. The best known of these is probably the AS225 networking software, but there are many other codes as well.
For example, AS250 is AmigaVision, AS251 is AmigaVision Professional, AS230 is the Janus Bridgeboard software.
If you know any other codes, please consider contributing them to this thread. Thanks!
