FS: Misc. old A2000 hardware
« on: October 27, 2006, 08:39:56 PM »
I've got some old A2000 (Zorro) cards which I don't use. If anyone is interested, lemme know!

The cards are:

Commodore A2090 SCSI / MFM controller - this is a non-autoboot Zorro II card
Combitec Autoboot A2090B - Autoboot card to use with the A2090
Macrosystem DeInterlace 2000 - despite the name, this is not a true DeInterlacer - check link for more info (adjustment knob is gone)

There's also a 40(?)MB MFM harddisk for use with the A2090, but I think it's better that I throw it away (or does someone want to have it as a paperweight? )

I have no idea about the cards working correctly or not, so they come AS IS.

EDIT: to prevent disappointments, I added an extra explanation on the DeInterlacer :-)

Hmm... from enthausiastic to... not in just a click. Too bad the DeInterlace 2000 isn't putting-out a VGA signal (that is, useable on a VGA monitor).
Get a SAM, while you can! The new AMIGA is here!

I guess it might have been useful during the days that 15KHz capable VGA monitors were more common...

According to this page, it DOES seem a true flicker fixer though (or am I wrong?):

http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/deinterlacecard

Still, I'm not going to try it. I jst removed all excess hardware from the A2000's case and I'm not bothering unhooking my pc's monitor to test it.

I doubt it will work properly in the A1200, since it does not support AGA (check above link)

Apart from that, any offer is welcome and considered (trading for other amiga things preferred) - send me a PM.

Surely it would work with ECS and OCS games though.

I have no idea how much to offer though....

I could be buying junk :P

Hehe, that's true :-)

I'm considering every offer though, I'm not into making top money out of it (I mean, I picked it up for free, so if someone offers a nice original boxed game or something like that, I'd probably accept :-D )

DeInterlacer = sold.

SCSI controller and autoboot card are still up for the grabs. If someone wants to trade them for a (few) nice boxed original game(s), I'd be perfectly happy :-)

Nobody? C'mon, they're almost for free  ! (just asking for a package in return - may be anything!)
