MiamiDX needed
« on: June 25, 2003, 02:08:04 AM »
I need the demo version of MiamiDX.
Or, I have OS 3.9, and would be glad to use Genesis,
but I cannot get it to work with my Realtek card in the Mediator.

My e-mail address is:  AmigaSurf@comcast.net

If you could spend a few moments to send me
the demo version of MiamiDX (no longer available from any website).

Or if you have any info's on Genesis and the Mediator, please post here.

Perhaps the demo version doesn't work with Mediator, or RealTek equipment?  :-?

Also, have you tried out Genesis yet?

No it's NOT illegal

Yes it is. I would recommend you stop offering pirated software.

Thanks everyone, but I only need the demo version...I found it, installed it...doesn't work.

Same problem...neither Genesis or MiamiDX can open MediatorNET.device.

funny the previous owner used this same network card and it worked for him.

drat, I just can't get it installed right, for some reason.  Finally got the video card working...that proves the Mediator is in good working order...which is a big relief, but I really need internet...sigh

What Realtek chip do you got on your card? AFAIK the only ones that works are RTL8029 and RTL8139 (MMCD required for RTL8139 though).

You can try putting the network card into the first slot on your Mediator too, that fixed some problems for me.
