I have a few items listed on Amazon.com auctions now. Plan on adding lots more, so keep a watch for some terrific Amiga Software and Hardware items.

I hope you get those prices. I have some of those things I might be encouraged to sell in that case. :-D

Yes, your prices are a bit high, except for the sync strainers maybe. And your location is memphis TN, which was where an ex Ebay seller of Amiga goods at high prices hailed from. Is this just a coincedence? :-D
A2500 owned since 1993 with A2630/DKB 2632, DKB Megachip, GVP EGS Spectrum, A2320 and GVP HC+8 on the inside and a DCTV on the outside. A4000D with CSPPC, Cybervision 64 and a Flicker Magic flicker fixer. A4000T Toaster Flyer & CSMKII. All systems completly retro and classic and mostly used to do geometic art as in my avatar.

Yes, but keep in mind the first bidder to win an auction or buyer of any of the items will get a 10% discount. A nice little feature I've enabled on all my Amazon auctions.  :-)

IMO overall fees structure is better, payment option is simple and the overall interface, style, etc... is alot simplier, ie. quicker... Only limitation I've found so far, is your limited to only 4,000 characters, which includes any html codes, and of course no where near the exposure of eBay. But I like the way all the options are setup on Amazon auctions better than eBay/Paypal. Now all I have to do is get everyone over there.  :-D

Well, my question is unanswerd. If you are/were Boogie Gail, your feedback might follow you at amazon. How many people are there in Memphis TN with loads of Amiga gear for sale???

Boogie Gail???  I saw some of her ads on eBay over the last couple of years and is where I've gotten some info/ideas for my items. But, no I'm not BG.

Most of the Video shops that had Toaster systems have long ago upgraded and moved on and the older Amiga systems they used can still be found if you look hard enough. :-D

Right now I'm trying to post most of the items I have and might come down on the prices some later if they don't sale with the 10% option thats in place now.

Yes, I agree. And you knew that Boogie Gail was female. That point wasn't always clear and got discussed sometimes in forums.

And as far as Boogie Gail is concerned, I never bought anything from her and have no personal resentment against her. Her prices were always too high but always just a little and her listings sometimes tempted me. When she departed Ebay, the amount of Amiga gear listed dropped 2 whole pages.

She did outbid me on a couple of Sync Strainer auctions and I saw her in action on a few auctions I watched and didn't bid on and she sniped with the best of them. There is a thread on Doomy's forum where he wonders outloud where Boogie Gail got her stuff from and I guess he didn't do much buying on Ebay because she was a real competitive buyer--the gal played a mean game of poker, that's all I got to say. I couldn't win a sync strainer while she was around. And so to Boogie Gail, a tip of the hat and all due respect that a good player deserves.

And @ Vamigan
Well, Boogie Gail or not, your prices are dealer prices and they aren't unreasonalble as dealer prices go. There's something to be said for availabilty at a price. I like the gaming aspect of Ebay but there are times when you just want to be able to buy something even though it costs. And it is better that all the Amiga gear you have be put on the market and available to the Amiga community so good luck to you.
