Large Drive partitioning help?
« on: June 07, 2007, 02:32:29 PM »
I am running os 3.9, and I have a 20gb drive in my A1200.

HDToolbox correctly shows the drive as 20gb, but lists the only partition as 40mb (correctly) but it shows no space free for additional partitions.

Do I need to enter in the drive specs manually or something?

Any ideas?

thanks.

There is a 4 gig limit, the powerflyer can get around this limit as it splits the drive up.

There probably is some way around it without the powerflyer of course but i know of no way but someone on here probably will.

Do you have BoingBag2 installed? HDToolbox from other versions of 3.9 still has trouble with large drives.
