Never knew an 030 was black... Kinda cool.

I had that same exact accelerator, but without the FPU... Wish I didnt trade it for a lousy 256mb ddr ram and a Asus socket A board...  :boohoo:

Just in case anybody is curious, whats stenciled on the actual chip is the following:

MC68EC030RP40B
59C74N
AUEHB9307

And in smaller lettering is:

IGHBAU  JAPAN

And yes, the chip is black and not just a product of my bad photo taking  :lol:

AFAIK, "EC" PGA (plastic, non-ceramic) versions were all black. My A530 had one, until I swapped it for a full 50 MHz chip. ;-)

I've really been itching for another A1200 accelerator. I can't believe I ditched my Blizz 1260. :cry:
