Mega Clearout!
« on: April 09, 2007, 12:00:18 PM »
********************
* MEGA CLEAROUT!!! *
********************

Im having a massive clearout and as many as possible of the below items must go.
Any items not listed as either working or faulty should be considered as unknown -
Pmail me if you need to know the exact condition of a particular item.

Also "working" or "fully working" doesn't imply that the item is guaranteed to be 100% OK.
This simply means that there is no apparent faults with the device as far as I can see.
I cannot accept any returns, neither can I be held responsible for anything caused through anything
that is purchased from myself.

Collection is preffered.
Please P-Mail me
to make suitable arrangements for collection. I am located in the UK near Worksop, Sheffield.

I hope Amiga.org doesn't mind this - Bear in mind im not a fan of Ebay and if I dont
pass these items on most will never get used. You're the only people I know who's likley to be even
slightly intrested.

I am also willing to exchange either one or a multiple of the items for sale for a working 2.5" HDD (Of reasonable size),
working Zorro II network card + drivers, a (working) MC68882FN33A FPU, or a full setup disk set of MS-DOS 6.22 preferably
with enhanced tools. Oh, and accelerator boards/RAM expansions/USB boards/PPC boards/A4000T's are also welcomed, too! :-)
Let me know if you are willing to exchange somthing and i'll consider it. Make me a offer (£) on anything you would like -
It's likley i'll accept it.

Somewhere I have numerous (Possibly Toshiba) laptop docking bays. As soon as I find them i'll post them on here too.

EDIT: For anyone out of town, contact me at rich1richard*nospam*2304@aol.com  -  Just remove the *nospam* part first.

Sinclair ZX Spectrums
=====================
-2x Sinclair ZX Spectrums, one working, one faulty. Both are 48K Variants.
-Sinclair ZX Spectrum "MAKE-A-CHIP" software on cassette. Boxed. 48K RAM required. Contains manual.
-Kempston pro joystick interface.

-2x Leads each comprising of a 3.5mm mono grey jack - 3.5mm mono grey jack segment and a 3.5mm
 mono black jack to 3.5mm mono black jack segment.

 a red, black, and white 3.5mm mono jack connectors.

=======
TI99-4A Personal computer. All items in working condition. Fully boxed. RF Modulator, PARSEC game
cartridge, RF lead, PSU, and a 9 pin -> red/white/black mono 3.5mm jacks (Tape drive cable, perhaps?)

Headphones
==========
Ross RE223 and Fidelity FSH-50 padded headsets. The Ross models have separate L/R volume controls and a stereo/mono
switch. The Fidelity models have only individual L/R volume controls.
I have numerous headsets of each type, varying in condition. I cannot gaurantee that all of the pairs will be
without faults. (I think) All of the headsets have a large stereo jack connector.
Bear in mind that these headsets are fairly old, and that the foam padding may not be as good as it
was when these headsets were brand new.

Commodore plus-4
================
2x Faulty Commodore plus-4's. One has a nice white keyboard, the other has a yellowed keyboard.
1x PSU unit.
1x Commodore joystick (May have a fault)
1x Tape drive model 1531 + manual
1x Atomic mission game cartridge for C16 / plus-4 and book.
1x Stellar wars/blits cassette. The stellar wars game requires a joystick such as the one above.

Modems
======

4x Various ISA internal modems.
1x WebExecel VeloNET 56K Modem and PSU. Boxed with PSU and driver disk for Windows. Note that the modem might have a intermittant RS232 port.

EDIT: I have a unused Diamond SupraExpress 56K modem with a PSU (Believed to be in working order) If someones looking into getting onto the internet with their Amiga, I believe Miami has this modem under it's list.

Networking gear (Sourced from a company that closed)
====================================================
Due to the enviroment in which the following hardware was used, it would be advisable to dissassamble the units and check the fan operation
(In the case of the network hubs).
4x ShivaPort Atom (What are these???)
5x 12 Way rack mounting 3Com Linkbuilder FMS2 10 Mbps network hubs.

Video hardware
==============
1x Pinnacle systems studio 400 unit (video digitiser via the parallel port) with CD (For windows), PSU, cables, and manual.
1x EISA VGA Video board. Long. Really old. Chipset = Cirrus Logic CL-GD5428-80QC-A Board = PT-524/85
1x 512K RAM Trident VGA ISA Video board. OK up to 256 colur 800x600. Features some kind of expansion port and was in
   working order when it was last used. Note that screen redraw is somewhat slow. Made in 1991.

Tape drives and tapes
=====================
4x 3M DC2000 Mini data cartridge tapes each with individual cases (Not compatible with any of the listed drives).
1x Seagate Scorpion tape (?) drive STD224000N. CD-Bay mounting with a SCSI 50 pin interface.
1x Wangtek tape drive model 5150 EQ, with a 3M DC6150 150MB Cartridge. Although the drive appears to be SCSI, the drive utilises
   a special connector/cable and a ISA/SCSI interface card by the same manufacturer (Also included). This drive fits into a standard
   CD Bay, although the bay must have plenty of room at the back of the bay. The drive may require cleaning before use.

Other
=====
1x Commodore 4.5v DC 200mA PSU for 230v mains operation. Output is to a 2.5mm mono style jack with +ve to the tip. Works fine.
1x Sony laptop floppy drive (Ex Powerbook laptop?) Model MPF22A-01 SHN    2MB 5V DC
1x Full length ISA Wide SCSI expansion board. TCL 1991 CTR 9232.
1x Silicon Valley computer 8 Bit Hard Disk - Adaptor ADP50L. Made 1991. ISA edge connector - 40 Pin IDE connector.
2x Processor heatsinks and fans w. Sense line. Appear to be designed for earlier ~100Mhz PC's. May be suitable for PPC cards.
..If an item you buy from me requires a IEC mains lead and you have no such mains cables spare, I might be able to help you out.
Main A1200D: WB3.0, 3.1 ROMs, 2GB HDD, Blizzard 1230IV (64MB RAM + FPU) and a whole load of custom heatsinks... :flame:

I'm interested in:
-1x Sinclair ZX Spectrum +3 with PSU.

How much do you ask for it? Would you consider selling it without the PSU as it is very heavy and would make postage expensive?
oh, wait does 'collection only' mean you won't post?
Better sorry than worry.

EDIT: OK, I'll post an item, but collection is preferable.
EDIT: Preferably within the UK!
EDIT: I can only accept direct payment in GBP or cheque (That will have to be cleared)

Watch out for extra items being added to the list!

@hodgkinson

I just gave away a USRobotics Sportster 14400 faxmodem...

Is the "ZX Spectrum PSU. Working condition." for a rubber-keyed 48K Speccy?  If so, I could do with that as I have said Speccy but no PSU (the one I use with it isn't really powerful enough and makes the computer behave erratically after it has been on for a few minutes.

Unfortunately I live nowhere near you so wouldn't be able to collect.

@ Chris

Yes, the PSU is as you described it. Id like to sell the PSU with a ZX Spectrum, though. If no one else claims it, then I'll be in touch.

The ZX Spectrum +3 & PSU is still avaliable. I've tested it and it loads up fine. The calculator even says 5*3=15 !

No RF lead though, and I have no way of testing the floppy drive out (Special floppies i seem to gather).

Weight without PSU = 1660g
Weight with PSU = 3420g
RF Output = PAL
PSU = ~230v 50Hz

Im reluctant to split the set up as this would make selling the other component much more difficult.

@Hodgkinson

Not really special floppies, just unpopular ones :-)

The +3 uses 3" disks, they are double-sided but as the drive itself is single-sided you have to turn them over manually.  The usual cause of failure is the drive belt needing replacing, there are various sources of these such as http://www.sintech-shop.de
