Absolutely. DOpus5 was a nightmare. DOpus4 is THE most useful tool I ever used on my Amiga. It also was the first program I installed when I bought my A1200HD last year. CLI is nice, but DOPus is sooooooo easy :-)

Thank you! I never got to grips with DOpus5... I'm sure if you're into it that it can probably do some fancey things 4.1x can't do and the GUI was upgraded (in my oppinion to the worse cause I don't understnad the darn symbols). And the WB replacement idea... bluah :inquisitive:

I alwas use Doscontrol for my amiga's.
Great advantage is it works out off the box with just one exe and from workbench 2.0 to 3.1.
It is extremely fast but has bugs with P96 screens.
Anyways just for copying/renaming/formatting  around this is my favorite.
And it even has a disk optimizer and repairtool in the program.
For small amiga's a neat program but only in german.(not the commands).
