setting up a scsi drive in the 2000
« on: March 24, 2007, 11:56:45 AM »
i have an amiga 2000 i am attempting to set up a harddrive.
i have two controllers one is the 2091 by commodore and the other is by GVP the HC. which is the best to use or does it matter? next is the harddrive i have a quantum fireball st scsi drive. none of the jumpers are set on the drive. i note a te (termination) and an ao, a1 and a2  how do i jumper these i would immagine that the ao-a2 is the address?. how can i find out the capacity of this drive?
if i remember correctly the 2000 can only handle 8 megs of memory tops? i do not know how much memory the HC controller has but the 2091 is full (2 megs?)
don't be to techinal simple terms for a simple person please and thanks
