Trying to flash update my bppc

i get an error 60.

"Oops you're in deep trouble now. Close all doors and wait until the end of the world or rerun the program."

WTF!

I'm using the last private realease.
A4K: \\\'060, Cyberstorm MKIII Cybervision 64/3D w/ Scandoubler, Buddha Flash XSurf, MP3@64, A4K: \\\'040, Toaster, Y/C, A1200: Apollo \\\'040, A1200 GVP \'030, A1200: Stock, A2000: 68K, Trump SCSI, Supra 8Mb, and Toaster 4K, A2500: \\\'030, GVP SCSI, Supra 8MB x2, Video Toaster, CD32, Minimig, Efika and Hopefully an A4000T soon!

 Perhaps a damaged FlashROM chip?
A1200 PPC user.

one thing i miss about the old Amiga is the character it had!!

I mean common, how cool is that error message.

modern peecee's even my beloved Mac. Just does not a have a personality.

Don't know what error 60 could mean, but did you follow the instructions (hold down the A key to disable the BPPC, then boot without startup-sequence and run the update from floppy disk) ?

If the Amiga still boots, you should try it again. Otherwise you probably have to send the BPPC to repair.

Oh!  I agree with you 100%!  I love the Trident Poseidon USB GUI stack messages and Poseidon pop-ups!  The messages show character.  I love stuff like that.

This reminds me of the xadmaster pop-ups (before they released a free keyfile).
When you tried to quickly click away the requester, it basically said

"You clicked on this button in less than 5 seconds. It is impossible for a normal human to read the whole disclaimer within this time-frame. Please wait."
