I recall a web site that legally hosted disk images of original install disks for obsolete Amiga hardware, but I don't recall the URL since it's been so long.

An Internet search should turn it up....

[Edit]
;-) Oh, wait; here it is!

Also, I recall that the TrumpCard insists upon its boot drive being named TCBoot:, and will choke if you rename it to DH0: or anything else sensible.  So, you're stuck with their choice.  Still, if it boots from hard drive instead of floppy, what's to complain about, eh?

Good luck, and have fun!

Hi,

I visited that site and it is mostly non commodore stuff.
Thanks for it anyway it has some stuff Ill need.

Okay it did boot once or twice after I upgraded the roms to 2.0 so was thrilled but somehow it got left on and it hasnt booted since.

When the trumpcard is connected the amiga wont boot from the hard drive or the floopy.  The power light just blinks on and off.  The monitor screen goes white and then shows some horizontal black lines and then back to the white screen.

When I disconnect the trumpcard the amiga will boot.

Is the blinking power light telling me something that I dont know about???

I also dont have workbench disks for 2.0 or the manual so dont know if there is a key combo to use or what.

Also in the trumpcard manual it says if u set it on 1.2 and hit the left mouse key it will boot from floopy.  I tried this and the power light just blinks and the screen whites and lines.

Have any idea what is up???

Weak power supply!!!!

I disconnected the data line to the trumpcard board and it continued the symptoms and also disconnected the power to the drive and no diff.

Drive might be looking for a partition but if the amiga isnt on wont help.

Any ideas????

Thanks RAy.

You're power supply isn't providing enough juice. My trumpcard did the same thing, until I got a bigfoot power supply. I also remember having my boot drive called DH0:, but I haven't had a n A500, in years.

Did u have the add on memory board with ur trumpcard???

If so did the bigfoot run it also without going to an external supply for the trumpcard???

Thanks RAy.
