Perhaps if you provide a little more detail.
What computer did you remove it from?
What computer did you put it into?
Which particular GVP Impact card is it?  HC or HC2?

How did the PSU checkout?
2 x A1200 Blizzard IV 030@50Mhz
1 x A3000D 030@25Mhz
1 x A2000 030@25Mhz
1 x A2000, 2 x A600
2 x A500

Problably your card is not dead in any way.

Follow these steps:

- Look in the card if there are some strap to inform there is a booting hd in it (take out the hd and change the jumper);

- Boot from the Workbench disk or the install disk (what version of WB do you have?) and run hdtoolbox to check if the hd is there or not.

- In hdtoolbox, use the "turn reselection on"

If no luck, come back.:horse:  And give us some more details.

Goodbye people.

I\'ll pop on from time to time, RL is acting up.
