So I ordered a couple Stelladaptor's from AtariAge back on November 23rd 2006.
At first everything seemed to be going smoothly, I even received an update on December 1st stating that my order had been shipped, but then things started to go wrong.  I patiently waited for a couple weeks for my order to arrive but by December 14th there was still no sign of it.

Being a little concerned I emailed Albert Yarusso to confirm that my order had shipped and to get an approximate time for arrival (I was, afterall, planning to leave by the 22nd). He replied stating that the order had indeed shipped and that the long wait was likely due to holiday season.  We agreed that this was most likely the case and that I should keep him informed if/when the parcel arrived.

I continued to wait for my parcel and by January 2nd there was still NO sign of it. I emailed Albert again to inform him of the situation and ask what our next step should be (i.e. try to track down the package or give it up as lost and send a replacement)...a week later and there was still no reply  :-(

So I sent another email, this time to Alex Bilstein of AtariAge informing him of the situation and asking him for a full refund (this was on January 9th I believe). As of today there has still been no response to either of my emails nor is there any sign of my parcel  >_>

I guess I'll just have to chalk this one up as a learning experience and advise anyone else who might be interested in the Stelladaptor to either find a different source or consider purchasing a RetroZone adaptor instead.

(Note: I  purchased two TurboGrafx 16 adaptor's from RetroZone the same day I ordered the Stelladaptors from AtariAge.
They arrived a little over two weeks later in perfect working order and I was even able to give one to my Mother for Chirstmas  :-)
She LOVES Fantasy Zone for the TG16 )

Update:

It is now January 27th and there is STILL no sign of my order, nor a refund, nor even an email. So I've decided to leave a negative review for AtariAge at resellerratings.com (which can be viewed here)
I just hope this small gesture helps others to avoid the problems I've had :-(

Edit:
Talk about timing, not an hour after posting this update I FINALLY got my refund along with the following note.

Quote
The only previous email that I did not respond to was the one you sent
on January 2nd stating that the order had not yet arrived.  I did not
respond to that email because I was very busy fulfilling orders placed
during the holidays, and I apologize for not responding.

 Previously I
had written to you to confirm that the order did ship out on December 1st.

I ship packages to Canada every week.  In the last four years this would
be the first time a package has never arrived.

I have refunded the amount of the order to your PayPal account.  Please
let me know if the package does eventually show up.

Thanks,

 ..Al

Now I'm not sure why he says he only received the one email (I'm sure I sent at least two or three more after that one) but at least it's done now.

Have you tried phoning them? Spamming the fora might also help.

Glad to hear. E-mail isn't a 100% dependable medium, there's so many spamfilters and crap between you and the addressee nowadays.

You might want to edit the title of the thread =).

Techie, let me know if it becomes "unresolved". I live in Austin.  ;-)

Albert is a good guy.  I'm sure this is just a case of the item being mis-handled by the postal service, customs, etc.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(
