Searching for a cool-looking A1200 tower case!
« on: June 06, 2003, 10:32:03 AM »
Hi,

I'm looking for an A1200 tower case, and all that I have seen so far look like PC cases from the late nineties, ie. nothing more than boring beige boxes.

I have a Coolermaster 201 brushed aluminium case for my PC, and it certainly looks the business. Are there any brushed-aluminium A1200 cases available?

How easy would it be to convert a Coolermaster case (or other such make) for use with an A1200 motherboard etc.?

Thanks!

Steve.

As far as I know, there are no 'recent' designs for custom A1200 cases.

TO convert a PC tower case you need to:

1. rotate the PSU so that the A1200 board can use the whole of the case height.

2. Remodel the back plate so that all the A1200 ports are available

3. Hope that cards via a Mediator still line up, else you'll have to completely re model that also.
