How to set fonts?
« on: January 24, 2007, 12:58:38 PM »
Maybe I'm missed something, but I can't figure out how to set correctly my icon's font. My problem is the following:
if i have darker backdrop picture i must use white fonts. If lighter i must use balck fonts. But neither is a good choice. In amigasys there is a solution: black fonts with white border. But i cant't find the option in sys:prefs/fonts to change it. There is only option to switch text or text + field. But if i set to text+field its got very ugly look.

In reaction ther is an option to change some gui function to 3d or with different color border, but not to fonts for icons.

So where can i search for it?

The PowerIcons patch allows you to give fonts an outline or shadow. It's controlled via an argument passed to the program when it's started.
