2 Questions CGX BootPic and BPPCFIX
« on: January 20, 2007, 05:45:14 AM »
Hey guys i'm just sitting here trying to figure out how to install BPPCFIX into my startup sequence. I manually install it now at the commandline, but it reboots. Whats the proper command if I want to install it when the system boots?

Also I was reading that CGX has a bootpic feature. How do I enable this and get a bootpic?

THANKS!! :)

bppcfix has a couple of options. I personally use:
"c:bppcfix install 040 reboot" in my startup-sequence.

It will basically remove the onboard ppc.library in the bppc card
as well as the 040 one and will reboot if it had to do the change,
Otherwise, it will just continue to boot if it didn't need to change anything.

If you run it once in workbench, to make the changes work, you
will need to reboot the machine. Either manually or via the reboot
option as above.

I used this command as far as I remember:

c:bppcfix install reboot >NIL:

or something similar... I had a 060, never bothered to remove the 060lib...

as for the bootpic there is the cgx prog that configures the rtg parameters, there is an option called bootpic
