Classic Chart Show
« on: December 02, 2006, 05:35:38 PM »
Now showing on The Vault (Sky 356) are classic runs of The Chart Show, formerly on ITV.

I saw one today (Saturday, 11am) and it was showing the best of the year 1992- complete with Amiga graphic overlays giving details to such songs as Right Said Fred's 'Deeply Dippy', Snap's 'Rhythm is a Dancer' and Boyz II Men.

It brought back happy memories, of a time when music was crap but in a funky way, and the Amiga graphics somehow fit in perfectly to experimental dance videos of the time.

The show's on The Vault channel, only saw it on Saturdays at 11am, not sure if it was on at other times in the week.
