Looking for an old packer program
« on: November 10, 2006, 07:48:25 PM »
When looking back to my old A500 history I can remember some kind of packer program with a good music playing in the background. I'd like to hear this music again but I don't know the name o the program. There were 5 vertical volume meters displayed at the right side of the screen. I remember I believed the Amiga has 5 channels at that time  Then it turned out the one of the meters was used as a progress indicator or something. :-)

Don't you know the name of this program or where can I find it please?

The music is here:

Imploder 4 music

It requires this Deliplayer to play in Delitracker II:
Medley Sound Deliplayer

Its a LONG time since i've done it, but from memory you need to select a subsong to actually hear the music all the way through from the start; i can't remember which subsong, but i recall that it wasn't the first one that starts playing when you load the tune into delitracker.

Edit: I just tried it and Deliplayer for windows supports Medly Sound modules out of the box. The first tune that starts playing upon loading it is the "packing finished" tune, but press "+" 7 times and you should get the main song from the beginning.

Thank you very much for your detailed answer! :-)

But is the original program available anywhere? I'd like to experience a complete visual and audio flashback first, you know ;-)

EDIT: Great, I've found it! Thank you both!
