Amiga Diagnostic Roms?
« on: November 11, 2006, 05:33:58 AM »
I've been around for a while, and I can even erase/burn my own Kickstart eproms.  I have never heard of these however.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Amiga-1200-Diagnostic-Kickstart-ROMs_W0QQitemZ330048324717QQihZ014QQcategoryZ4598QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Ebay Item number  330048324717

I would like to have a set for the 3000 or 4000, or at least an image.

Hello,

I've never heard of them and I used to repair Amigas. I do remember something similar for the C64 which was a ROM Cartridge and testing harness for all ports.

CBM U>K might have released this can you see an NMOS Part Number on them?

The photo is to poor to see any details. Probably on purpose. I would be curious to here some feedback from whomever buys them. I don't own an A1200 anymore and I never did have a PAL one. Too much money for me to have them sent to the States.

Now if they were NTSC and for an A3000 or 4000, Hmmm.

Yes, I think they are awful interesting as well.  Love to get my hands on them.

Check out cloantos site, they are mentioned as being included in Amiga Forever 2006, assuming it's the same thing.

cheers
