Elbox ATX -> AT PSU converter
« on: November 05, 2006, 06:59:40 PM »
Hello folks,

having 6 devices in my power tower my current PSU gave up and I'm in the process of installing a new one in my Power Tower (A1200). I got the Elbox converter ATX -> AT PSU, it comes with the power switch and the adapter connectors, however there's a small circuit board that's suposed to be used to control the on/off logic of the ATX PSU and I don't know where to mount/screw it, it comes with screws and everything but I can't find any specific place where to attach it inside the tower and I don't want it to be inside floating around... any ideas/suggestions?

Amiga keep on rollin'!

Thanks!

I glued such an adapter with fluid metal somewhere in the tower.

those Elbox adaptors, although expensive, are excellent. I hace used both 1200 and 4000 versions, they are great!

The ATX to AT PSU adapter has the 4 mounting holes for the D-Box tower.

These mount just top, right of the A1200 motherboard (right of the accelerator slot) and screw in to secure - theres no reason you cannot drill 4 holes in your alternative tower and secure in a similar way.
