Video Backup System under WinUAE?

Anybody know if it is possible to use the VBS hardware and software under UAE? I have got a couple tapes here I was looking to restore. (If the tapes are even good anymore...) OR  does anybody know of a program that could decode the tape into a hard drive image for use with UAE if I were to record the video with a capture card? (Yeah right... not likely.)

I am looking to do this in a way that won't require me to dig out and set up my A500/GVP Impact II 100meg drive and wipe it out to restore the data. Not to mention the difficulties of moving the stuff on 720k floppies or a null-modem cable.

IIRC these devices connect to the Parallel port. So if the parallel port emulation in UAE can keep up with the stream of data coming in to the PC's real parallel port, then I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Might as well try it!

While that's technically possible, I don't think it's likely that such software exists. It would probably be easier to use the VBS software in UAE anyway.
