How very true!  So why did the Yugo of operating systems prevail?  The frustrating truth is that consumers simply have a long running love affair with mediocrity.  Windows is dominant for the same reason the Ford Escort was the #1 selling car in the world for so many years: advertising, nothing else.
Primary:
A4000T. Phase5 PPC604e-233mhz/060-66mhz. Mediator, Z3 Fastlane, Voodoo5, Delfina, X-Surf, AD516, Peggy Plus.

Collection:
A4000D, A1200, A500, Milan060 (Atari clone), Atari MegaSTE, Atari TT030, C64, C128, Mattel Aquarius, (2) HP Jornada....

Thanks for the link.  Pretty obvious stuff, but it's nice to see this stuff being written up.

If we can believe testimonials posted online, M$ have never gotten the design process right.  Designs start with 'features'.  Pahh!  Great way to make bundles of cash, but daft engineering.
Good good study, day day up!
