I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet (didn't bother reading the entire thread...), but spam-crawlers seem to be quite common these days.

It might be a good idea to swap out the "mailto:this@is.my.email" references with something like "javascript:window.location('mailto:this' + '@' + 'is.my.email')".
