I need games
« on: September 18, 2006, 05:12:36 PM »
Ok, so my CD32 and SX-1 with Floppy drive should be arriving sometime this week - I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Anyways, are there any good sites (other than Ebay of course) that have a decent collection of games for sale?  I only buy complete games though, so that might limit things a bit.

I am currently looking to get Simon the Sorcerer (I can't ever remember a prettier game), and either Beneath a Steel Sky or Captive.  Other than that, nothing in particular, just want to start amassing a formidable game library.

Thanks in advance for any places.

There are some sites that offer legal and illegal games.

We love our community here so we recommend you only download those games that have been legally released from copywrite and there are several.

Use google and search for ADF legal Amiga.

That beng said, often ebay is the best place as well as some vendors. There is nothing like having the original disks and the manuals a re a big help too!

@ArchM

I am in USA like you  (NYC)

I have both Simon The Sorcerer and Liberation Captive 2 for the CD32.

And tons of other CD32 games.

PMAIL me

I believe LIBERATION is NTSC and Simon is PAL but runs in NTSC.  Both freakin excellent games.......my friends were amazed when they saw Liberation intro....a well donr and presented game..although the gfx could have been better.  But the music is excellent.

EDIT:  If you know how to melt Plastic.I have alot of plastic that is the same color as the CD32 and SX-1 so that you can build some sort of attachment to keep them tighter together. I dont know how to melt or mold it. but I saved it incase someone can.

Any of your CD32 needs, let me know right away.....Already selling my CD32 and SX32 pro.

Also I have MediaPOINT CD.it is like SCALA MM300. It will let you run CDXL from hardrive in a very well manner.

And now there is this dude who is piorting Movies to the CDXL format...........so that you can watch entire movies in CDXL !!!! freakin awesome.......of course CDXL is not such a great formet.but imagine showing little home movies like from Digicams to your friends on your CD32!

MediaPOINT is probably the best way to present it.
CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...

Beneath a Steel Sky can be legally downloaded.  Here is an information page that links to the data files.  You'll need to download the ScummVM binaries separately though.

Well, as a collector, I don't want to download.  If that were the case, I would have just found an emulator somewhere.
Everything I buy has to be original, and it has to be complete.  I will check out those vendors listed above, and also will be talking with Leirbag about maybe buying some of his games.

Thanks as always.
