Have recently installed a Seagate Cheetah 36Gb ultra SCSI
Hard Drive in my 040 omniscsi.device equipped A2000HD, using OS3.1, preparatory to upgrading to OS3.9. Have used the OS3.9 Emergency disk to partition the new drive. When rebooting in OS3.1 as normal, HDToolbox can see the new drive and its partitions, but there are no icons on the desktop to format.
Any suggestions as to how to format the new drive? I even went so far as to install OS3.9 in the hope that that would assist in this task, but to no avail. Have reinstalled OS3.1.
