I had one the 1992, but after some months defected, because I had put on tablet some heavy books for some weeks
Very stupid end for a fine art hardware. :-(

The 'Tabby' was a another popular brand of Amiga graphics tablet. I'd love to get hold of one of those!

For 'tabby' look at ebay, I look one yesterday as-is contition  and very low price. I prefer the easyl tablet because have A4 size and paint with a simple pencil. No special pen needed. :-D

Yeah, there is a "Wiz" tablet on ebay right now. But aren't their drivers for wacom tablets now? Would be easier to find, no?

Today I bought the Wacom Volito2 usb tablet for 59euros.
It works perfect to my amiga 1200 without any drivers, the poseidon usb stacker activated it and was ready to use in seconds! I used it with ppaint and deluxe paint and the results was perfect!
But...my love is the Easyl for my amiga 1000. If anyone have one I want it. ;-)

But then you have to buy a usb controller if you don't have one. I have a choice of 2 wacom tablets, mine which is a newer 6x8 usb, and my roomates serial 4x5. I was hoping to get my roomate's one to work if I can find free drivers that work.

Hi,

I have bought a Genitizer GT-906 drawing tablet at a garage sell. The working area is 9" x 6" and it is attached to the serial port. It works good for me using the driver software "FormAldiHyd".
It is very usefull for DPaint for example but it has no sensor how hard you press the pen to the surface.

Unfortunately the minium requirements for FormAldiHyd are a 68020 and Kickstart 3.x so it may be a problem to use this with an A1000.

I have the subway usb for a1200 clockport.
If you haven't usb try the driver for serial version from aminet. In search box of aminet type "wacom" and voila!
This driver works for sure with wacom penpartner, but maybe works with other models too. just try it. (you need also the 9pin->25pin adapter.)
Good luck. ;-)
