Amiga 500 & 1010 Drive w/Original Boxes Mint - Fair Price?
« on: August 30, 2006, 04:46:32 AM »
What would be a fair price for this setup?  I'm not looking to sell, so I hope I've picked the right forum.  I just wanted to get an idea of what these machines are going for in case I do decide to buy one.

I live in the U.S., so if you can give in U.S. Dollars, I'd appreciate it!!

Thanks again!

$50, if all there is is just the A500 and the floppy drive. $20 more, if one of those sidecar HDs are included.
Amiga 3000D UP and running! Hear that clicking. 8)
Amiga 3000D & 4000D in storage sadly.

;-) A fair price is whatever the other fellow is willing to part with for it.  For one of us, that's $50.00.

So far, so good.

And that's why my wife hates me ;)  See, to me - My A500 is worth WAYYY more than $50.  (It has the 512k trapdoor, and SupraDrive 500XP w/2MB RAM, well, and external floppy).  Nothing special, but..  Worth way more than that to me!

Ok, ok! Throw a monitor in, and I'll give you $100.  :-D  :rtfm:

Some may hate eBay but I'd say it has provided a reason for a lot of classic items from books to computers to be rescued from the trash.

Simply use the searcj function of ebay ,check COMPLETED auctions and you will get a very good idea of what people have recently paid.

I see that A500 in original boxes have sold for  $30 up to $100 (USD) plus shipping.Without monitor.
