ShowAmiga96 looks like it's using only 16 colors
« on: July 31, 2006, 07:50:51 PM »
Earlier today I installed ShowAmiga96 and it works fine except pictures in it look like they are only 16 colors or something in test mode and in actual booting.

I'm using WarpDTs for WarpOS and think they may be the reason, so is there anyone using ShowAmiga in a classic PPC?

Fixed - I used ShowAmiga96 in my PC with AmiKit, converted my bootimage jpgs in it, and then transferred them to my Amiga. So the problem is with something that converts jpgs/pngs to ShowAmiga's own format - maybe just those dtypes.

I remember I had similar problem when using certain version of picture.datatype that was not compatible with ShowAmiga96.

btw. ShowAmiga96 included in AmiKit is the most recent (bugfixed) version. In fact, it's special AmiKit version but you can use it even in your PPC Amiga without any problem. Just copy it.
