Yesterday I backed up my SYS to cdrw (just burned the whole drive as it is with makecd). In MakeCD there was this nice option to put all .info files to the beginning of CD to speed up .info -loading.
However, what really is intresting is that loading for example all those icons I have in Prefs-drawer loaded infact faster, and atleast in order, compared when opened from my real harddrive.
So what I'm wondering if there is some sort of intelligent defragmenter for SFS? Or is this reorganization only possible if I copy all my stuff to safe place, format SYS, and then copy files manually back?
