Amiga Video Toaster Flyer output Faded???
« on: August 07, 2006, 11:26:19 AM »
Hi,

I have a Video Toaster 4000 / Flyer combo that I'm working on and the Video Toaster 4000 output looks fine, but when I attach the flyer cable to the flyer from the Video Toaster 4000, it dims the output? Tested with another Flyer card and it works fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Three possibilities.

1) Flyer card is broken, send it to Newtek and they will fix it.

2) Cable is broken, see #1

3) Cable is not being plugged in correctly, fix that and try again.

Plus we really need more info.

1) Output and Preview both effected?
2) Software loaded for Flyer?
3) Does the Flyer capture video?
4) Is your source TBCed?
5) Is your source terminated?

Thanks Tig. Well that kinda confirms it, that its broke, so I'll try contacting NewTek or let the next owner do it if they want. I'll probably be listing in the For Sale section later today or tomorrow.

Thanks!
