interesting indeed!

About 3-4 years ago, a friend had a PIV badly broken.

I've tryed to contact both the ex-italian distributor E.D.E (was Mr. Orlandini IIRC) and the Village Tronic address and they both replied (weird thing a mail in italian from EDE and another in english from Village Tronic, both signed Orlandini!).

He was very kind but unfortunately, he wrote that they didn't have spare parts anymore. (nor tecnicians)

It would be great if Masta Tabs could help whom in needs of PIV repairs! :-)

just stumbled over this thread, as another user seems to have a similar problem with his PIV,
bertambala, is your PIV still not working? Did I understand correctly you are using a 3640 CPU Board?
probably rev 3.1? Well see my posting on the other PIV Thread ;)
In short, if you replace this CPU Board with something else, the PIV should work fine.
