Zorro Vlab Motion or PCI TV card ???
« on: May 04, 2003, 01:00:09 PM »
Digitizing moving pictures, what's the cheapest and best thing to do keeping quality in mind ?? Doing the old fashionned tour of Vlab Motion + Toccata or going the new way with a Mediator and a PCI TV card ?? What's the difference in quality ?? Should I step over to my pc and let that dumb animal do the hard work ?? Anybody with experience would be welcome to speak up his mind !!

Never got to use Vlab on the Amiga, but I have used PCTV on the PC. The TV card card was really cheap only about £40 but the quality was preaty good. It records sound and video in realtime as MPEG2.
