Yes but movies are projected, not scanned, at 24fps. Otherwise they would be even more flickery than PAL...

The main advantage of NTSC is that console games run at the right speed and without useless borders.

well, its much better to have any composite out then NONE like in A4000. in case something goes wrong with RTG config.. etc
