« on: July 07, 2006, 02:24:53 PM »
This has probably been asked for many times before, but here it is again:

When i try to install apps like Whdload, Newicons and other apps, i get a message: Cant load installer or something like that(my WB is in Norwegian).
What can i do to this problem? I want these things to work!
Currently owning: A couple of Windoze pc´s, A 24" Imac, 3 A500, 1 A1200 with A Blizzard 1230 IV, CF-Hd ++ and a C64.   8-)

Thanks alot! This did the trick!
But after i installed Whdload, i tried to install the good 'ol game "Ports of Call". The installation went fine, it asked for my disk and everything. But when i try to run it of the harddisk it says:
Cant load expmem.
What is this? Expanded memory? I have a stock A1200 here, do i need some more ram to run Whdload?
Cheers, Sigurd

From the WHDLoad readme for Ports of Call:
 The installed program requires 0.5 MB ChipMem and 1.0 MB OtherMem.

Running an A1200 with all CHIP memory is very slow compared to running with other memory installed.
