Amiga 600 PAL to NTSC conversion
« on: July 01, 2006, 03:09:05 AM »
Hello,

I am looking to purchase an Amiga 600, but unfortunately I cannot find a NTSC version, only PAL.  What would I need to change to convert it to NTSC?

Unless you're hooking it up to a TV via the composite port, it really isn't necessary. Once booted, NTSC and PAL can be switched in software.

Hum,
if the game can be played with kick3.1 :
put kick 3.1 and press space, then you switch to 60 Hz mode

running a PAL game on an NTSC machine is not always a very satisfactory experience either, so better get a tv with PAL support and enjoy the *real* Amiga experience.   (no offense)
