Where is the SAS/C PPC compiler patch?
« on: August 19, 2004, 11:52:38 PM »
I am interested in using the PPC compiler patch for SAS/C 6.5x as described here:

https://www.warped.com/amiga/

I am not sure why that is htpps.  But anyway, the provided link doesn't work, and in fact all that is on the ftp server appears to be ircII.  Does anybody know where I can find this patch?  Its name is scppc_beta22.lha.  All the other patches were on Aminet but not that one.  Any help is appreciated!

Hi,

Just in case anybody still looks for it, and feels so hopeless, like me some time ago - I've just posted an upload to Aminet.

So everything is in Aminet-moderators' hands now.

I've posted scppc_beta22.lha (latest)
and ppc_samples.lha (contains only binries, so may be fun or for test, but is pretty useless...).

If you cannot find it really soon from now, just rip their hearts off. ;-)

(and where is that Quake2 port that was posted to Aminet so long time ago, as said in this thread? ;-)

Cheers

The PPC patches are online now:

It was deleted. The archive contained material that was obviously not GPL'ed (e.g. Hyperion's documentation) or at least had a questionable legal status (e.g. Hyperion's preferences GUI). The uploader didn't specify an email address (otherwise we'd have informed him about our objections) and I simply forgot to post to that thread again.
