Yep, I will be interested to see how much this goes for too, since I have a unit similar to that (a bit better spec).

@ Tonza

I advise removing the CPU card prior to shipping, because they are prone to coming loose in transit. And then its bashy bashy inside the case, not good. Perhaps you can put it in an antistatic bag, wrap it in bubble-wrap and tape it to the inside of the case lid, over the zorro slots. That's what I am going to do if I ever sell mine.

Thanks for the shipping advice X-ray.  I had heard of the dangers of shipping and was planning on shipping the CPU in a seperate package, but your idea is better!

What are the specs on your system X-ray?

This auction is off to a great start!

My specs are the same as yours except:

1) PIV instead of CV64
2) There is a DKB3128 board with 128mb RAM
3) My total ram is 272mb
4) A few cosmetic details such as socketed CIAs and a lithium battery pack away from the motherboard. Oh, I also have the original feet for the case.

Where you are better off is the HD floppy drive and the condition of the case. Mine has a few scratches like yours but mine also has a few dents that yours doesn't have. Our bezels seem to be in the same good condition, just yellowed.

One last thing: my drive chassis is cut (I did it with a hacksaw) so that the CPU card can be accessed and removed without taking out the drive chassis.

I think you will get a nice amount for that it, but perhaps you should have taken better pictures of the inside of the unit.

Edit: saw the auction again, and saw the coin battery pic

Nice system!

You got me beat in ram for sure.  I remember I was considering more ram, but never seemed to find a need for it.  Amiga OS is just so darn efficient!  I remember considering cutting the drive chassis for the same reason you did it.

I don't even want to mention what happened to my feet, but here it goes.  My ex-wife threw them away!  And even worse, she chucked my A2000 out with them.

It had the original 040 from the A4000 in it!  Otherwise I would have sold just the PPC board and put the 040 back in the 4000T and kept it awhile.

I will try to take better pictures, but my camera is very low end.  Maybe better lighting and remove some ribbon cables. That should help a little.

BEWARE !!

My auction for the A4000T ended over a week ago.  I have offered no second chance offers to any of those whom did bid on it.  I currently have no plans on relisting this right now.  If anyone contacts you about this auction offering a "second chance" to bid on it is not me. I don't know how to contact the people who have told me about it.  Ebay will not let me respond to their emails.
I have changed my ebay password and am currently trying to get ahold of ebay about what is happening here.
