Multiscreening/multiple screens now availible for Mac OS X
« on: June 01, 2006, 01:19:48 PM »
...sort of.

With the program VirtueDesktops, mac users can now enjoy an almost amiga-like OS experience.

Each application can have its own screen with its own desktop image. Switch between screens with a very cool cube effect or pick your transition effect of choice. This is also a really nice way of switching between OS X and Windows or Linux when using Parallels, the virtualization software.

I think this is way cooler than multiscreening on Amiga, which was the only feature from AmigaOS that I really missed (not that I would mind having datatypes and assign of course.)
