WHDload Games
« on: May 09, 2006, 08:58:14 PM »
Hi

When I download and install some WHDload games they say that I require an A500 Kistart 1.3 image and a kick34005.A500.rtb file. I dont have an A500 with 1,3, Is there a place I can download these files?

Thanks

Only the .rtb files can be downloaded, they're in the SKick package on Aminet.
The Kickstart files/rom's are still copyrighted my friend
Further info is in the Whdload documentation

Well I used to have an A500 with the rom and Ive paid for the 3.1 roms so it should be ok to get a 1.3 rom image?

If you still have the kickstart 1.3 chip, you can still put that back in the A500, and use a kickstart dumper to put it into a file.. (or you can get a kickstart switcher).

Or you can get the Amiga Forever package and it will have all the kickstart images (i think).

OR you can get them from a tosec collection near you.
