Any graphic-software sharks in here? PPaint Question
« on: April 29, 2003, 05:05:35 PM »
Hi!

This is the second time I try to post this question...

Does any know why PPaint 7.1b freehand brushes or freehand effects doesn't work in RTG mode?

I can't take a freehand brush, it's like PPaint takes some of the incapsuled area but not it all...

:-?

I have a version of PPaint i got off of a magzine covercd. I don't know what version it is (i'm at work, its at home), but everything seems to work fine under P96 on my Voodoo 3.

:-? Opal Paint has a similar problem here.  When the OpalVison card is in my A2000, the software works fine, but when it is installed in either my A4000 or A3000, the brushes captured are a few pixels out of sync with what I wanted.  It’s a little different for each machine.  It may be a matter of adjusting something somewhere.  I was unable to resolve this problem, and returned the OpalVison to the A2000.  On the other hand, I use PPaint with the A4000’s Picasso IV, and have no problem such as what you describe.

:-( My best guess is that it is something to do with your RTG software.  Try changing some of the settings.  Mind you, keep notes so that you can restore the settings later, if needed.
