Using OS 3.1 on 3.0 roms

Is it possible to run OS 3.1 on an Amiga with only 3.0 roms installed?

Yes!

It works fine, and there don't seem to be any ill effects...

Same with running OS 3.0 on 3.1 ROMs, as I did on my A1200 after I'd upgraded the Kickstart chips but couldn't be bothered to reinstall the OS!

Yeah, I think it'll work. The ancient review of 3.1 on Aminet was done with such a setup. There's a few things to be aware of, though. You might want to check it out once Aminet's webserver gets back online.
