WinUAE gurus needed ! Graphic Tablets under emulation
« on: February 14, 2006, 08:03:36 PM »
Hi everyone
I am going to annoy you alland dredge up this old problem that I never got solved.....

I've been searching far and wide for a graphics tablet that will work with WinUAE properly. I tried my Trust USB tablet ( of course forget it!), I bought a serial port PC Aiptek Hyperpen - this doesn't work ( checked all the serial ports)..last week I borrowed a USB Wacom Saphire ( small blue tablet - pretty new I think) and despite all my attempts nothing worked.

I really want to be able to use a tablet in absolute mode ( rather than relative as relative isn't always so accurate )...I'd love to use it with PPaint or Dpaint.

Has anyone got any ideas?

I've tried numerous PC art programs, but nothing is as nice as Dpaint period.

Thanks for your advice
MIke
