@ikir

Shark ? :roflmao:  :lol:  Why not also list Merlancia's AmigaMCC, the
BoXeR and an Amiga5000 ?

After >2 years of only showing rebadged Mac-accels with no SW, and a
outright refusal to tell a realistic plan on how to get any OS to work on it
we can pretty much lock that one into vapor-land and throw away th key  :-o

@mantisspider
UAE on AROS may be cool as on hobby, but that is where it stops.

No JIT.
Outdated UAE.
No network-acces in AROS.
Pretty much no SW for AROS except a few (GPLed) games and demos.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Wait until Amiga OS 4 comes out for AmigaOne before anyone buys a Peggy! :-) As good as they are though.

MOL is not an emulator, it runs the OS directly without cpu emulation
It's a virtual machine with a set of custom drivers.

Get a PegasosII, it's better and cheaper.
AmigaOS4 will need much more time to be ready to run.
And AmigaOS4 will probably run on Pegasos also when it's ready.

Hey, PegasosII owners . . . . .   .

We're waiting to see pics of your better, and cheap, machines!

Won't be much longer for CSPPC hardware, I'd say!  But, what was the reference/comparison point for your assertation?

IF that Pegasos is licenced for AmigaOS4[/i], it will.  Its more an issue of 'when will the Pegasos be licence-ready?'.

JIT needs to be added as well as TCP/IP, with the latter being worked on but slowly.  Those who would like to see TCP/IP on AROS should check out TeamAROS for the TCP/IP bounty which is still accepting donations to spur the developers on.  As for lack software, that should be changing as native GCC port is nearing finish and coders have promised to do ports of their work to AROS once that is finished.

@Wishmaster

Ha iFusion :madashell:, what a bloody waste of money that was !!!.  I'm stuck with a coaster hoping that it would actually work on the Blizzard PPC.  I'll never pre-pay for anything again like that, that's for sure.

It will still run it whether it's licenced or not. :-) It'll just be not 'officially' supported.  Just like people who run OS X through MOL on their A1's and Pegasos's without a license from Apple and against the terms of the OS X EULA.
