Need PAL to NTSC disk
« on: January 24, 2006, 07:55:33 AM »
hello. i been looking for amiga stuff for days and i just now came across this forum. I need a ntsc to pal disk. i am trying to view some old time demos from the good ole underground days and they are freezing up because they are in ntsc and stuff.

I am also looking for JRComm 1.3 or something of that nature so i can try to connect my amiga500 to my pc and download some stuff on to floppies on the amiga.

if anyone has dynamic drums. which is a small user friendly music making program that would be greatly appreciated.

Since i got this amiga 500 out as well as our SX-64 people always have a good time while waiting in the studio while we are recording and i have some sound bites and samples on the amiga 500 i would like to put on pc that we did back in the 90's so i am trying to hook this 500 to the pc like i did my commodore64 to xfer software and use them on the actual machine. I am just glad it still works. it hasnt been turned on in 10 years and now it is being used normally again around the good ole home... but if someone can dig me up a ntsc to pal disk i would love life and greatly appreciated

if anyone is in the SW ohio area to give me a email or a pm

yall take care and thanks in advance

IIRC a lot of custom bootblocks had an option to switch to NTSC, have you looked at aminet it must be there..

Try BootPAL and Switch Install.

BootPAL sets a reset proof tag to boot machine to PAL, and Switch Install installs a NTSC or PAL boot code to the boot block, and it even works on some disks that have code in the boot block!  But not all, and make a backup of disk before you try or you can ruin the disk.  They are on Aminet.

And aminet is: www.aminet.net

Did a quick search for jrcomm on aminet for you, but there was no match. Maybe you can use "ncomm" instead?

Here's a link to the "comm" directory on aminet:
