Hi -
I'm soooo sad that the Amiga-Hardware.com web site has been taken down. It was a great resource for the Amiga community and helps keep our vintage macines up-and-running. How many times have I gone to set-up / re-configure my system and found my original disks to be corrupted / lost / whatever. I try my best to archive
and file them away but time takes it toll.
Clearly I understand that folks that have current prodcts want to make sure they get paid for their work. Fine - but if people have the hardware they are entitled to the drivers one way or another. Who cares if where they are archived? Not having this resoure hurts the whole community. Having machines around that don't work because of missing drives / wrong jumper settings etc will make it harder for current equipment/board vendors to sell their wares. Its hard to convince somebody to buy a new X-Surf 4 for example if the rest of the machine won't run. I hope things get squared away and Amiga-Hardware.com is back up-and-running sometime soon.
