Phase 5 went bust, most if not all stock was sold to DCE. Power Computing is still around, probably sold all older legacy stuff but still stock new amiga hardware (like mediators and such)

AT Stock was all sold off, either as whole machines or as spare parts, some are still to be had at vesalia. Not long ago Computer City also still sold new A1200's.

You have to keep in mind though that when AT went bust they didn't have warehouses full of stock! Most production had already run dry and stock sold to distributors.

I was sure they had a shed load of stock. Like a mountain of A1200 magic packs and a small hillock of A4000Ds.

However I also seem to remember Petro sold them all (mainly to Indians).   ;-)

The wording of that sentence implies that there might be more than one computer in Dundee. :-)

I remember Bill McEwen talking about someone stealing several pallets of NOS Amiga hardware from one of their facilities in Germany in one of his Amiwest speeches (2002 ?)

He said he knew who took it and where it was, but I think that was the end of it.  It's still a mystery who took it!  Who knows maybe in a couple of years eBay will suddenly be flooded with NOS A4KT's and AT A1200's.

Mac Mini 1.5GHz, that might run MorphOS someday, when the fools who own it come to the realization that 30 minutes just isn\'t enough time to play with it enough to decide whether or not you like it enough to cough up $200.

 - Someone please design SOME kind of DIY accelerator for the A4000. :D -

I know one person (who I think has moved to Stoke on Trent) who has an A1200.

There was a guy who got me into the Amigas back then.  He had an A1200 aswell.  Dunno if he's still here or not.  Siouxsie sometimes sees him at Tesco, but I don't think she's seen him in ages.

There was another guy who worked in Dundee but stayed in Errol.  He and his brother both have Amigas.

Sadly I've kinda lost touch with them all, except the one who's in Stoke.  All I need to do is get round to reinstalling MSN or remembering my password for AW :-)

No mystery....just simple supply and demand.

When C= went bust, all remaining inventory (well most of it anyway) including spares and partswent to AT.  AT contracted with QuikPak to build A4000Ts from remaining parts inventory.

Over the years AT sold alot of Amigas overseas (a large number went to India) and dispersed the remaining stock to anyone who would buy it (dealers).  Europe had / has most of it (A1200s) but a small amount is / was here in the states (A4000D, A4000T).

"New" AMIGAS don't stay on the shelves forever.
